Types of Teams

1. How many teams do you have and what is the difference in each one?

  • Elite Team - 9-10 tournaments, with typically 5+ out of town
  • Travel Team - 7-8 tournaments, with typically 3 out of town
  • Regional - 6-7 tournaments, with typically 2 out of town

We place players on teams based on their skill level. If we have enough players to make more than one Elite, Travel, or Regional Team, we will.

2. Do you cut players?

  • Yes, we will cut players 14 and up. However, if we do not have enough players for a team and that team does not make, then your player will not be offered a position and you will be informed.

3. What do the fees cover?

  • The fees you pay cover tournament registration costs, coaching fees, and coaches' travel. Coaches are the only staff who are compensated from your team fees. The director positions are paid via other avenues.
  • You will cover your own travel expenses (hotel, gas, etc.) and uniforms/gear.

4. What are your fees and can you make payments?

  • The fees are different depending on the age and team you are on. As soon as you accept a position on a team in October, a $500 deposit is required to secure your spot. You can also pay your full season fees 100% at this time, but they are due in full by January 15th. If payment arrangements need to be made, you can contact the Director. All fees MUST be paid by February 15th in order for your player to continue the season.

5. Does everyone on the team play?

  • We guarantee equal practice time, not equal playing time. Each player must earn their spot in the lineup.

6. When will we know if our player makes the team?

  • You will be notified within 24 hours, but in most cases you will hear the night of tryouts. Tryout results will be posted online followed by a call or text from the coach of the team. 

7. How often does a team practice?

  • Elite and Travel teams will practice three times a week.
  • Regional teams will practice two times a week. 
  • Our Spring League and Training teams will practice once a week and participate in the end-of-season Spring League Tournament.

8. Are uniforms included in the fees?

  • No, you will be given a link to order your uniforms and other gear, including separate payment. We will distribute them once we receive them.
  • We are a TEAM, therefore we will all wear the same gear. The package you order will include jerseys, practice shirts, spandex, socks, knee pads, shorts, sweat pants, 1/4 zip jacket, and backpack.  

9. When does your season start?

  • November 1st to April 30th (approximate dates)
  • Elite teams will continue into postseason play through the end of June
