Local NCAA Volleyball Programs
Memphis Juniors staff are coaching in all of these programs. It’s
a great chance to see some relatively high level volleyball,
right here in Memphis. Please support these teams by attending some matches!

Resources for Players
We've included a few places here to our players to check out. Some of these
pertain to your off-season high school teams, some for more about the sport in
general, and some for apparel and equipment. We list All-Volleyball here because
we primarily buy our equipment through this supplier and they have treated us well.
For ladies looking for collegiate opportunities, Rich Kern's site is a terrific
resource, and free!
All-Volleyball
A super group from up in St. Louis who supply our teams and work our events.
Check them out for shoes, kneepads, and other equipment.

TSSAA, Tennessee High School Athletics Governing Body
Has information about H.S. volleyball, including state Champions and All-State teams.
Two teams from Memphis won state in 2003, Briarcrest in Div II and Germantown in Class AAA.
Also, three Memphis Juniors players, Allison Cronin from Germantown, Allison Mell
and Kimmie Campbell from Briarcrest also won All-State honors. Congratulations!

Rich Kern's Recruiting Registry
Rich is one of the few people involved with online recruiting information who really
has the interests of the girls in mind. His site allows athletes to register online
and coaches to scan resumes. Nearly all of the college coaches I know use his service.
In addition, the site has links to his NCAA women's VB update, a supremely informative
site manned by an army of volunteers. Well worth the time!
Resources for Officials
We've included these links for people seeking to become referees. You can
download PDF versions of the 2004/2005 indoor rules from the USAV website link above
or order the rulebook from USAV (we recommend this version to carry to
tournaments). In addition, the Ref Shop is an online resource for officials run
by officials... a solid place to shop for whistles, referee uniforms, and other
gear.

The Ref Shop
A good place to find those pesky cards and whistles!
If you need the
Scoresheet Instructions
(don't have a rulebook or didn't get them in a Clinic Handbook) you can download this 34 pg PDF from USAV.

Resources for Visiting Teams
We've included these links for teams coming to Memphis for tournaments, especially for
our annual two-day event, the Mid-South Blast. You can currently search for accomodations
in the Memphis area, and we'll be adding links to Beale Street, Graceland and other fun
activities in the area.

A travel and tourism directory for Tennessee; site looks like it needs some work in ability
to search for local accomodations, but some of the activites links are good.
